Audio card detected but no sound

hello,
please help me with this issue, i have a laptop and since ever i had installed ubuntu but i never had sound on it. I don´t know why, my audio card is detected but i can´t hear no sound.

Here is my audio card driver version in Windows : Realtek AC'97 Audio Driver for VIA 686/8231
