    8.1 PowerISO problems

    I have PowerISO installed on my laptop which I am attempting to install Intrepid on. PowerISO automatically is reading the CD and is either stopping me or making it much more confusing for me to install 8.1. Should I uninstall PowerISO?

    Did you mount the .iso file as an image with PowerISO? You might have to burn the .iso file to a CD then try and install from Windows.

    Alright, Ill try that. I may also try using Wubi and eliminate all of the technical worries.
