Still having problems with new hotmail

Oh my god, so there is no comptibility issue, they are just blocking Ubuntu.
Someone needs to sue the hell out of Micro$oft, that is not right.
How can they get away with that?
Someone needs to contact open source foundation about this so they can start the legal process. This is not right, that is bunch of b.s.

Well, this someone might as well be you, so go ahead and do it.
But I feel that it would be much more effective if people who experience this issue, simply migrate away from Hotmail and close their accounts there.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go!
I've just found out that although you can't type proper emails with new hotmail on Ubuntu, you can choose to send a quick message by clicking on the name in your address book and typing in the quick message box that should appear. Hope that is helpful to someone else - slightly faff avoiding anyway.

Every time I reboot the computer, it goes back to Ubuntu from Firefox, how do I keep it from changing?

I no longer own a Windows computer, so I've dumped my Hotmail accounts in favour of Gmail because of the stunt pulled by Microsoft.

I now want one of those cool Ubuntu keyboards, instead of one with Windows keys.
