ssl certifications for iran users

these days i listen a lot about some security problems about "diginotal" ssl which is stolen by hackers. the experts say that chrome is more strong in ssl than Firefox in privacy.
i have three question
1. does it have different between Linux(ubuntu) and windows users ?
2. which softwares can i install for more assuring ?
3. if i delete diginotal ssl of my Firefox, does it have any problem ?

Both Chrome and Firefox have been updated to no longer trust Diginotar CA certificates. Just update your browser and you are fine.

1 no, untrusted CA cert. effects both systems
2 diginotar CA problems can't be solved by installing additional software. But microsoft and google(chrome) and firefox are set to no longer trust these cert. (for the time being)
3 do not longer trust these cert. as a user
