How could i change the shared video memory on my laptop through Ubuntu

Yesterday i bought a Acer Extensa 5630 and everything seems to work great with Intrepid(except Bluetooth and my Speedtouch 330 Modem).

When i looked over the specs i saw that the maximum shared memory for my GPU was 384 MB(this model has the Intel x4500MHD chip) so i decided to modify this value, but the BIOS doesn't allow me to modify the shared memory(it's now currently 64 MB, but for my needs that's not too great).

So my question is: "How can i modify the shared memory of my video chip through Ubuntu?"
