    I'm having this suspend/resume audio problem, too. Any idea how I could reset it to 6ch from the command line? If I could figure that out, I could put it in a script that would run each time I resume.

    Why is this marked as solved? The Mactel support instructions do not work for some, myself included. 5,1.

    With 9.04 on mbp 5,1 sounds work fine, but it doesn't anymore after a resume, tested now.

    sound is only comming out the left speaker.
