    Lightbulb [SOLVED] manual upgrade

    I wanted to manually download all the packages for Ubuntu 8.10 dekstop .

    Is the following way correct for the upgrade ??

    Add intepid ibex's sources in /etc/apt/sources.list and then
    apt-get dist-upgrade





    I want to do this because i want to download the upgrade packages first, because I dont have net connection all the time.

    You can upgrade using the alternate cd as another option
