[SOLVED] RV630/M76 audio device not working

I am running 8.04 and having Radeon 2600 HDMI output card, to hear sound i am running HDMI cable from card to HD TV. My Q is when i open device manager i could see that my card is been identified as RV630/M76 audio device but when i type aplay -l it says "device_list:205: no soundcards found..." and also my volume icon in taskbar showing red line cross on it. Can someone figure out for me as i am getting no sound

After upgradation from 8.04 to 8.10 the sound began to work.
