also, here is the method that i used to intsall wacom in hardy, and i think that this is why my tablet input is referenced to both /dev/ttyS0 and /dve/input/wacom.

this week[end] when i get some time, i may do a clean reinstall (i only use linux for a backup partition/messing around) and i will report how that goes with the tablet. also, does anyone know if the tablets work in the 64-bit ubuntu?
