Hello All,

I have installed Ubuntu 8.10 and absolutely love it. If i can find a money management program I can live with, I am done with Windows for good. My issue is that I have to manually put my DNS settings in, and when I do, everything is fine. I have web pages, updates, etc. The problem arises when I reboot, it goes back to DHCP without those settings and thus I have no internet web sites, or other. Is this a bug? or am I missing something? I simply click the Networking icon near the clock and choose Edit connections and re-input those settings. As long as I stay in session all is well. I reboot, gone.

Anyone help me out? Much appreciated in advance, also if you have any money management software suggestions. Thanks again,
