i was able to set cpu0 to performance, but i dont know how to set cpu1 to performance also. right now cpu1 is set to ondemand.

If you use CPUFREQ panel then its a core wide setting.
Please let this thread go back on topic. No talk about bugs here, just report those who have a known workaround.

It's a shame that this needs to be stated every three or four posts, but again, this thread is for known bugs with known workarounds. There are many good places to talk about (or report) open bugs. Launchpad comes to mind...
