    [SOLVED] HD-resolution and BluRay

    I am about to buy a 24" HD monitor, with a screen resolution of 1920x1200... does Ubuntu support this kind of resolution?

    Also, I am going to watch BluRay movies, does Ubuntu support all the B.R.-drives? and do 'normal' players play BluRay discs?

    yes the resolution is problem. as long as your video adaptor supports the resolution
