How do you upgrade from ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 with the cd????

i have 8.04 installed but my wireless card doesn't work on it so ill download 8.10 as soon as it comes out but I don't really know how to do it. Should I totally delete 8.04 and then install 8.10 (if so, how??) or upgrade straight to 8.10 and if so, how?

btw I'm going to burn the cd from windows(with which i have access to internet)

This explains how to upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 using the alternate CD - I guess the same will apply when upgrading from 8.04 to 8.10:
