Works for me on 8.10 so far!!!

    I'll update on my progress

    Updates so far:
    - Random bugs. The terminal does not work. Some windows don't have borders (firefox download window).
    - Many issues. Terminal has only a white window, can't see typed in text. Pop up windows are blank
    - White terminal and white popups fixed by disabling desktop effects.

THis update broke my kernel (2.6.27) I am going to install the update to an older kernel and see if I get shown some love.

Nvidia driver does not work on my external device. Man that sucks.

I'm running 2.6.27-7 and it works fine for me. What exactly happened?

I reinstalled the module, and it is working, but it does not work with my DVI output .

I use my box on a 42" HD TV, and the new driver seems to work only for SVGA out.

Solution for the missing title bars and white windows is here:
    http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...52#post1826952.

In short, add "Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"" to your xorg.conf and restart X.

That's odd because I have it on DVI out on my vid card. I wouldn't know where to help you out at. Maybe you should try submitting a automatic bug report to Nvidia?
