Well, its almost midday here in New Zealand on the 30th of October, the big day for the latest incarnation of Ubuntu, the Intrepid Ibex!

Anyone waiting anxiously for the official release can come and talk here, just to pass the time until the time comes when we can all start downloading (preferably the torrent).

So come on, lets make this a release to remember!

I'm really really waiting for it, It is 29 minutes here into the release day and things are moving slow, it seems. I have waited actually for the release since... 10 hours ago, when the first timezones started to move to 30.10.

Well it's been 11 and 1/2 hours since we moved into the 30th here.

Back with hardy we got the release a day late...

havent you got anything better to do? canonical is based in london. although its possible that they'll release it at midnight tonight gmt (in about 90 minutes time), although they'll probably just wait until the morning or sneak it out in the early hours when all is quiet.

They probably are. I'm betting it will be about 13 hours until the official release.

can anyone tell me were i can find the torrent...

cuz i know the ubuntu server will be packed and will be imposible to download threw the main page..
