    compiz with open source driver started to lag

    hello,
    i tried to install ati catalyst driver manually, so i installed and followed this guide (second method) : http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubu...allation_Guide
    now i want to go back to open source driver. but when i install radeon driver and configure x server, x starts ok, but compiz started to lag very much, and in metacity this dont happens. how can i solve this problem? thanks
