downloaded and ordered cd's

Hello,

When I want to download an Ubuntu version I have to specify if it is 32 or 64 bit platform. When I order a cd, as far as I can see there is no choice.

I am asing this because of the problems I have in installation (as I posted previously) with an ubuntu live cd of 8.0.4 on a intel core duo 64 bit processor.

Hi...

For some reason, with 8.04 a choice was not offered.

However, you can make a special request on the order form and specifically state that you want X number of x64 CD's. Be sure and keep your number low, so your request will be more likely to be approved.

I did this when I recently ordered two Kubuntu CDs, one 32 bit and one 64.

Thank you!

I cancelled my request and I asked 2 cd's as you suggested.
However, according to what I studied normally 32 bit should work.
The 64 bit is only to take full advantage of the 64 bit processor apparently.

I am of course not sure if I understood correctly.
