Re: Lenovo T400 Suspend / Hibernate / Resume Problems

Is this problem fixed? I am seeing an issue with my T400 and also my desktop. It just returns to the lock screen. I am forced to use suspend which works better. I see some errors on the console when trying to hibernate. I will share the kern.log when I next see the messages.

Re: Lenovo T400 Suspend / Hibernate / Resume Problems

Got the dmesg output after clearing it up fully before attempting the hibernate. I guess only the relevan messages should be there. The one of interest being Not enough swap space - is that a problem? I have put the details towards the end.

    Code:

Re: Lenovo T400 Suspend / Hibernate / Resume Problems

Well, yes it should be fixed. However, your problem seems to be different. This thread is specifically for the t400 waking from suspend/hibernate issues. If you are returned to the lockscreen you are having a completely different problem.

Re: Lenovo T400 Suspend / Hibernate / Resume Problems

I am sorry. My problem is that the laptop does not hibernate at all. I shall file a new bug. I think suspend works.
