    Sound Boost?

    Hello

When I was on Windows Vista my Toshiba A100 Laptop sounded great. But on Hardy Heron, with all volume levels set to maximum, it's never as loud and it's quite easy for other things to be louder.

Is there any way I can boost my sound levels even higher?

    Thank you

Never mind...it seems that at the current level, it's making my computer crash...it's probably already too much...

    Thanks

    Two things.

    1) please don't constantly beg for help. it takes time for people who know the answer, if they exist, to find your post. reposting in 16hrs probably wasn't enough time for them to find you. remember, this is all free support, and thus, is not instant.

    2) try opening a terminal, and typing in
    Code:
    alsamixer
and assure the master volume is set all the way up to max. if that is not enough, then try increasing the others as well.

    Good luck!

I re posted because my post was like 4 or 5 pages down. Sorry
