New Ubuntu Desktop (without paying for windows)

Hello All,

Moving over from a broken Vista OS to nice fresh and clean Ubuntu, what a pleasure!

I brought my Acer Aspire along with me, however, it's dying, can anyone recommend a nice small desktop that I don't have to pay the Windows ransom money for. I've checked system75.com and their prices aren't bad. I was just hoping the Ubuntu experts would know what machine would be best for Ubuntu and not have to pay Micro$oft?
