Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes...

Ubuntu 8.04

I installed Enlightenment e17 via SVN last night. I have several questions which I'll cover in separate posts. If there is a better forum -here or elseware- to post these questions, please let me know.

I've noticed that when I insert a CD (audio or data), DVD, or USB drive no icons appear to indicate if they have been auto mounted or not. Audio CDs and DVDs will also not play automatically. Is there a way to get desktop icons for mounted removable media? If not how is the best way to mount/unmount these devices?
