Downloaded the demo - and it works great on my system, and my graphic card is slowly getting outdated - 6600 gt or something.
Has anyone picked up games on the multiplayer yet - I haven't seen any???

i got prey like a year ago, and when i tried multiplayer there were like 5 servers with people on it, its very possible that the multiplayer has pretty much died out except for on the weekend or something

So It wasn't as popular as they expected?
I only buy games which put out a Linux port, but is Prey worth buying for the first person experience?
I think my favorite on-line shooter is still True Combat: elite.

I guess that means only servers you'll see is Linux demo ones. Which can be quite few... so we need to wait until full version is out to see. Or ask a windows friend who has the full game! The demo is not network compatible with the Windows demo (the retail version for all platforms are, though).
I get no sound in the game anywhere (menu, in game, etc...). Sound works just fine everywhere else in my system and in other games.

Since I have played the windows version, I think that the single player part is very great and worth trying. Going to play through it again as soon full client gets released.
Checked out the demo, pretty cool. Bought the windows CD from amazon cause I thought the real client was out already. At least I'll have the disk when the real client gets released.
Nope, no dates were given, just said pending feedback on the demo.
I gave mine, there is no 1440x900 resolution offered...
