hi friend,
i'm stuck with a strange problem. my mic records everything that is played via speakers but isn't recording my voice. can anyone tell me why this happens?

i've pulse audio installed. but the recording meter isn't going up very high.

both Ubuntu voice recorder and skype call test recorded music that i played on my system but not my voice.

please help.
