[SOLVED] does thunderbird save the address book with the mail directory???

i think i have stuffed up.... in a big way

i made a backup of my mail directory in thunderbird and didnt do the addressbook

i have restored my system and i have setup my email and i have all my emails back just fine


but no addresses....


if i was suppoed to backup my address book before i wiped everything... im stuffed now...


can anyone tell me is there a backup in the profile directory that i backed up at all or is it a seperate entity???

the addressbook is another file and not in your mail folder, however it is in the thunderbird profile folder.

as it turns out i have managed to collect the required address i was missing from my sent items and re added them to my address book and have saved the address book
lucky i dont delete anything i guess

it pays to be a hoarder some times
