digital photo presentation

I asked this in another section but only got one response, so I thought I would try here. Im looking for a program to create photo slideshows. You know ,with music and fancy fade in and outs. Not like f-spot where it just displays your photos. I want to create a presentation. Please help!!!

Have you tried using openoffice?

The open office program presentation is meant to be able to deal with slide shows, among other things.

I guess I'm looking for something more like windows movie maker. Where you can add music and time line zoom around a picture and change the type of fade ins. open office seems to be more of a office presentaion

You should be able to do all of that, it is just in a different interface to windows movie maker.

Sorry I'm so late; just read your post while looking for something else.

I've used ManDvd to make wonderful slide shows with photos, effects and music.

I also use it to combine the slideshows into a video presentation that are burned to DVD.
