[SOLVED] Desktop Effects (no such file)

To make a long story short, I can't get desktop-effects to open. I have uninstalled in and then reinstalled it, but it still won't open.

I can get Compiz to run, and it works fine. Emerald works well, also. If it matters, I have a GeForce4 MX4000 graphics card.

I just feel as though I am not getting all I can out of Compiz unless I can get it to work.

This doesn't seem like a graphics card issue, but some sort of executable issue. Can anyone help me?
