Ok, Im finally fed up.. Bill is going the way of the dinosaur.
Ive dabbled with Ubuntuon and off for a long time and finally did a complete transition on my laptop. Taking a poll of what I do and dont in Windblows Ive determined it can all be done in Linux so Im going over for good.
Here is my question.. (yes, I have no doubt it will sound noobish).
Can I install x32 and then install a x64 kernel for my system. If so can somebody detail process. Only reason I ask is the 4G barrier with memory on x32 and I notice the application issues with x64 installations.. so I figure if all the apps are x32 I shouldnt have an issue. Of course feel free to tell me my thinking is completely wrong...
Anyway, soon as I get an answer I plan on shifting later tonight.. forever.
