[SOLVED] IReport Help! whats the version of your IReport installed in Ubuntu?

My iReport stop responding when I compile or Execute..

Does anybody knows the remedy of this?

I have the same problem with iReport 3.0.0
iReport failed after I installed Ubuntu 8.10. It is the same problem with a iReport 2.0.2. I open the same report in Windows and Ubuntu, in Windows everything is ok, but in Ubuntu the TextFields do not show the text and when I tried to run it:
Compilation running time: 2,147.
*Filling report...
But it does not show anything.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi..have you check the which kind of java sdk was installed in your ubuntu?I've once get the trouble,i check the java by using java -version.It gives me the gcj,not jre.I remove the gcj using sypnatic.The libgcj also i remove,i try to run the ireport again.It works fine..I'm using intrepid and ireport 3.0.0.tar.gz..Hope it helps..

no no yonghan.. your post will help others.

myireport is now running good, its because of the function,
i didnt use the menu functions, just the buttom below. it works well. but if u click the menu functions not the buttom, it hangs up.
