Gateway MT3705 Wireless adapter

I got the Gateway MT3705 and all the drivers installed but the Wireless. it dosnt show up in the hardware drivers. For school i obvously need the wireless. ive tried everything from wrappers to wine. idk what to do now. I got no CD rom in my laptop cuz it got broken accidently. i installed the OS with a flash drive. im a technician but for Mac and Windows based machines. this is the first time ive really played with Linux. If someone could please be help me find the wireless it would be amazing.

check from this message area on. I posted some things that should help. Also, I can not get wireless drivers to compile correctly on "lenny" so stay with the "stable" release of ubuntu.
