    A Linux wallpaper for beginners

This is a wallpaper especially designed for Linux beginners. It shows the main Linux commands and their descriptions :

but surely people who are new to linux shouldn't be expected to get down and dirty with CLI ? graphical pointy and clicky.

also, what new user is going to set that as their background? Its only logical to find the commands if you know what they do to start with.

The descriptions are also written by an expert user, for expert user. ... i mean, common, seriously what new person to linux will know what this means ."grep pattern files" what patterns valid? what files? how do i specify? its useless. And all the different types of rm commands. .. too confusing.

interesting idea, but its like smacking a user manual down infront of people and making them read it. people hate to read user manuals . look at all the latest games, you never have to touch the manaul, the game teaches you as you play, thats how linux should be, and to be fair is becoming that way.

It's a good idea, it might have been better with a background that had some minimal art and some nice color.

Here are some nice guides that I learned from and still reference every now and then:

Not intent on using this as a wallpaper but I might end up printing it out, actually. Fantastic work!
