    Karmic Koala broke my Thinkpad

I have Thinkpad X200s, which was nearly perfect with Jaunty. Unfortunately, I rushed to upgrade to Karmic Koala, and that has brought nothing but troubles. Here is a list:

    1. No suspend (just hangs)
    2. No hibernate (just hangs)
    3. Some "hot" buttons do not work
    4. FF adobe flash crashes often
    5. And the worst, boot time has increased substantially! (why is that??)

Anyone experiencing the same problems? Any fixes?

    6. No console, when press CTRL-ALT-F1 shows blinking black screen with some weird pattern. When trying to type something happens on the screen , but characters are unrecognizable

I'm running Karmic on an X200 (not an 'S') and the install worked perfectly except that my wireless WAN card doesn't wake up from a suspend.

Did you do a clean install or an upgrade? I've had trouble with upgrades and did an clean install...

Do you have the built in WAN card? Is it working? I found a work around. If you turn off the wireless (with the switch at the front of the PC), count to 10, turn it back on, Network Manager will see the WAN card and allow you to connect with it.
