I would like to create a customized version of Ubuntu to distribute to the students in a college class I'm teaching. I used the Customization Kit and created a customized distribution without any trouble. However, I need to also include sample files for the students, like various text, database, and other files we will use in class. The Customization Kit permitted me to customize a lot of things (screens, apps, etc.), but I did not see any way to include user files in the ISO image.

Is there some way to include user files in a customized distribution of Ubuntu? Do I need to start from scratch and create my own distribution rather than just use the Customization Kit?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
