[SOLVED] vsftpd troubleshooting

Hey Everyone,

I have recently installed vsftpd server in 8.04. The only problem is whenever i login through firefox i could onli save file but can;t upload anything even though i have put write_enable=YES,
anyone has idea wots going on ??

I'm not aware that firefox is equipped by default to upload files, even if you have write access. Have you tried an actual FTP client, like gftp or konqueror?

So which server supports browser uploading and how to setup ??

It's not a question of what the server supports, it's a question of what the browser supports. Unless you have a special extension like FireFTP, firefox is not equipped for uploading.

Again, have you tried an actual FTP client to see if the server is working?
