Dipped in Ubuntu
Whenever I have something that has sound, be that music or a game. The music plays but there will always be crackles and I can't really play music with that. On Windows Vista it plays fine, I am dual-booted with Windows Vista and Linux Mint 5. Device Manager shows I have Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 it also says nVIDIA High Definition Audio. Model is CX20561, any ideas?

Also, this can be moved to Sound Card section and such. Also in a game like Nexuiz for example, my sound is actually fine. It is only music and videos as well as Youtube etc. Not my music player either. Any ideas? Anyone know of a driver and where to get it?
