    Moving Ubuntu to a new HardDisk

    Hi!
    Can someone please point me in the right direction? I've read http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=35087
    but I don't think that will install grub and make it bootable etc?

    If you're wanting to move the whole thing over completely, then partimage will work.
    I do not use Ubuntu any more, nor have I ever used Gnome. Therefore, I tend to give advice that is distro- and DE-agnostic, which, while perhaps not the easiest way, will allow you to move freely between machines.
