Ewww! What's up with these colors!?

Take a look at the screenshot, especially the light-grey on KDE3 blue.

This is KDE 4.1.1 on a machine that also has KDE 3.5.10 installed. Obviously the KDE3 blue is coming from KDE3's setup. However the grey text is coming from KDE4 since I'm using a dark theme which uses light fonts. No amount of fiddling with the GTK settings changes these at all. Also, this is not happening on my KDE4 only VM so I know it is an interaction between the two settings. Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix it which is not one of the following:

Use another browser.
Uninstall KDE[3|4] and use the other one exclusively.

Well, with Ibex coming out I kind of solved this problem. Moved .kde to .kde3-old, colors work fine. *sigh* Oh well, guess I'll not have to figure it out once the upgrade is complete.
