My cam can't be seen in Kopete

I installed Kopete hoping I could do cam-to-cam with the people on my Yahoo chat list. I can view their cams just fine. I can see myself on my cam. But when I invite others to view me or when they request to see me and I accept, they just get a black screen. I tried disabling my firewall with Firestarter and having my wannabe viewers disable their firewalls. I also tried opening the ports through Firestarter that showed as events on the Firestarter log when others attempted to view me (tried "Allow connections from Source" and "Allow Inbound Service for Everyone"). None of these worked. Any help on how to get Kopete to transmit my cam? Thanks. Since it's not too often I use my cam, it may take me a while to try out any suggestions, but any responses are certainly appreciated.

Bump. Anybody with any ideas? I have also tried Gyachi with the same results. Should I be posting this in another Ubuntu forum other than Absolute Beginner Talk?
