    Exclamation Desktop Effects not able to enable

    I have a P-IV 2.0 Pin Type processor with a gigabyte motherboard.
    Ram is 1.25gb. When I tried to enable desktop effects I was unable to enable those settings. Dosen't my motherboard support this. If so what is the alternate.
    Please help me...
    I am a fresher to ubuntu...

    Do you have any restricted drivers available to apply under (System > Administration > Hardware Drivers). Often times you need to install those drivers to use the effects.
