Exaile global shortcuts not working

Hi all.

I've installed Exaile on a clean installation of Ubuntu 8.04, added the Global Shortcuts plugin, but they're not working (neither the default ones using <super> + _, neither my custom ones).

I'd be happy to provide additional info if needed, but I feel this is a pretty common bug with a simple workaround, which i have't been able to find.

I use xbindkeys to set keyboard shortcuts for exaile.
