[SOLVED] song cutter

i had set a song when a login screen loads......but the whole song is playing even i entered in to desktop......so i need to cut that song ...........how can i cut a song in ubuntu

Try Audacity (Search for it under Programs->Add/Remove programs). Make sure to Show All Availible Applications if you can't see it. Or try Escawave, or GNUSound.
