    Computer Fails To Turn On

I was casually surfing the web and my entire set up, printer, monitor, router, and computer shut off for 5 seconds, restarted, shut back off again, and restarted, but my computer remained off. I began pressing the "on" button to try to bring it back to life, but it refuses to turn on.

I'm thinking it was some type of surge that killed the PSU. My entire set up is hooked up to a multi-outlet surge protector. My computer is fed by a Rexpower PX-350 PSU with the switch on at 115V. It's been running fine the past couple of years and yesterday it just **** bricks.

Is it a PSU problem, or something else? Is there anyway to fix it without having to replace it? If I had to replace it, how much would it cost?

It does sound like a power surge or short took out the PSU, probably popped a capaictor or if you're luck a fuse on the PCB. It might be worth doing an internal inspection of the PSU in case it is a fuse, and can be replaced.
