    bash script

    Hello there

I am a Linux user, but I am not too familiar with trouble shooting when a problem arises. The other day I was navigating in a Linux terminal (e.g., cd, ls etc.) when the terminal just went blank. Now I am unable to navigate in the terminal (i.e. there is no prompt from which to type in a command to navigate).

Can anybody tell me why this is and how I can fix it?

    Thanks,

    Rivaldo.

    Re: bash script

    - Do you still have the same behaviour when you open a new terminal?
    - Which application do you use as a terminal interface?
    - Do you have it when you switch to one of the other Tty's? (<Ctrl>+<Alt>+<F1...6> PS. Same with <F7> brings you back to the Gui)
