Although i am not one to count the chickens before they hatch.
For those interested , gogamer.com is having an UT3 48hr madness sale UT3 regular is now 9.90 while UT3 collector's edition is now 19.90
So if you want your copy cheap perhaps now is the time to get it but like i said the chickens haven't hatched yet aka a Linux Client available for download.
Cool, maybe a die hard Linux fan can start a UT# server that we can always go to.
Well--I've been a UT2004 player for years now----my quad runs SETI@Home 24/7--I could open up one of my cores for a server if/when Ryan releases it......I still hold my breath that I can REALLY use the disc that has gathered dust for the last year or so........
It was good to see UT3 running on Ubuntu in the screenshots

As the folks at phoronix point out it could be in wine or a windows screenshot gimp'd.
But i doubt it is any of those things though.
Gimping that is so ridiculously easy I really don't think that's what the folks at Epic have done. They have nothing to gain by pretending they've made progress and then delaying the client, but they have a reputation to think of if word got out.
Well--the first shot is (or looks) like Ubuntu---the second shot is in the Apple Developers window--use to run those tools & remember the look of the windows.....
So I don't think that they would fake both Linux & Mac OS X-----

Between this, jaunty, and my new computer that im ordering; i might just crap my pants.
Wait till you see the actual release. If they're going to do what is suspect (Charge again for the Linux Copy) I'm not even going to bother. As one who was lied to several times by this company, even after Pre-Ordering it I don't see why i should waste more money on them.
