    GN-WP01GM Wireless drivers

    Hey

I was thinking about installing Ubuntu on a old pc which is currently using Gigabyte GN-WP01GM Wireless PCI Card. I've had a quick look on the internet and couldn't find anything which said that this PCI card worked on Linux/Ubuntu, I was just wondering if anyone here knew if it did or any possible way that i could get it working

    Cheers

From my experience wireless devices will either a) use Windows drivers + ndiswrapper or b) use madwifi drivers.

Check the madwifi compatibility list for your card.

Other than that if you can't find any first hand testimonials you will just have to try your luck with ndiswrapper.
