Trouble getting nm-applet onto panel

I mistakenly took my nm-applet icon off my panel and I can't get it back on. Could anyone tell me how I could put a shortcut to it back on my panel?

hit alt-f2 and type in nm-applet
if this doesnt put it back up there, you need to right click the panel and click add then select notification area
