[SOLVED] Start gedit with a specified session

Is there a way to choose a session automatically? Something like,

    Code:
     gedit --session=my_session
I know it's possible with kate.

    Code:
    man gedit
Doesn't document any way to start with a session or profile, and I am unaware of any undocumented feature that does that.

There are two gedit plugins available which you may find helpful, Reopen Tabs and gEdit Project Manager .
