pidgin can't connect to msn at the moment, and I read somewhere that microsoft shut them down for the day because its 9/11? is it down for anyone else, and is the 9/11 thing really true? cause that's just stupid.

Opened pidgin earlier and it said it couldn't connect because the msn servers were down but its working fine for me now
Yea I'm getting the same problem with amsn, just keeps trying to connect. I doubt they would shut it down for 9/11, I mean yes it's a day to remember but how does that effect a chat program?! There has to be another reason...
Again, same problem using emesene!
The Day Microsoft make something that doesn't suck...is the day they make Vacuum cleaners.
Hm I can't log on either, but at school some of my classmates could log on. And yes, they're using Vista.

I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
emesene and my mobile phone weren't working before, but aMSN is working for me now...or it just hasn't realised it should be signed out It was being dodgy last night too
Was experiencing the same problem, pidgin saying msn network was inaccessible. Am now connected...eventually.
