Just a kick for Mac4Lin, I think it's great and I'm looking forward to further developments!

    Hi,

yes, realy looks excellent. But I have a strange problem : my "nm-manager-gnome"-applet in the systray notification-area will not switch to the nice icons provided with the RC. All other icons show up perfect, but wich ever iconset i select in the icons list, all work but not the RC/nm one. Any idea what goes wrong ?

I've always wondered on the Mac itself and Linux themes with a dock at the bottom, does the dock take away the entire bottom of the screen from being used? So if you maximize a window, does the bottom of the window rest on top of the dock?

Just curious. Thanks for any responses.

I can't say about the other docks, but AWN has an option to keep full screen windows above the dock if you prefer to use it that way.

Unfortunately, Mac4Lin doesn't provide any icons for Network Manager.

As Peng says, AWN and most other docks haf an option to hide it when windows are maximized.

It may have to wait until the weekend to get back to it too much, but the only thing I plan on keeping me from working on it will be Dodger games on the Tivo. So I should have the docs done by the new week and have an eta on the Mozilla themes not too long after that. Sorry it's taking so long.

Unfortunately, Mac4Lin doesn't provide any icons for Network Manager.
That would explain of course, but what's about
    version 0.3:
    ...
    * Many system icon updates (Network manager now has new icons)
and I can see all the nice Icons in "\home\[user]\.icons\Mac4Lin_Icons_v1.0_RC" starting with "nm-adhoc.png" etc. I tried and moved the "Mac4Lin_Icons_v1.0_RC" folder to /usr/share/icons/" and it helped so far that the root apps can use them now too, but not the network-manager.

so seems that there is anything missing ?

Unfortunately I tried to add the icons for NM applet. But everytime there is an update the icons get screwed up. There were so many updates that I stopped changing icons for it. So depedning on which version of NM-applet you haf, you may or may not see the icons. Its also possible that the icons maybe visible partially. Frankly, I've no plans to run after the nm-applet fixing icons after every small update.
