Slow and crashable Firefox
Hi,
Is it just me or Firefox really is slow and full of crashes on Ubuntu ? It crashes at least 2-3 times everyday and is much much slower than windows version while Opera is much more faster than it. The point is I really like Firefox and want to to stick to it but it is driving me crazy these days ...

well I didn't install it, It was installed automaticly by Ubuntu itsself ...
Gee! These Aren't Roasted!
Go to Tools>Addons>Plugins.
Right-click on anything relating to Flash or Adobe and Disable it.
Restart Firefox.
If Firefox doesn't crash as often, it's because of the Flash player plugin. There are various fixes around the forums, including downloading Flash Player plugin 10. or doing the following in a terminal:
~ sudo apt-get install libflashsupport
