    ddrescue: image with multiple partitions

    Hi,

first I hope my message fits in topic and someone can help me:
I got a crashed harddisk from which I try to rescue the content using ddrescue. The problem is: it's that broken, that I'm not able to mount any partitions on it BUT I can create an image from the whole disc, using ddrescue.
The interesting part is: nevertheless it is really slow, ddrescue doesn't show any errors so far (20 MB). After watching this progress for 30 minutes now, I ask myself allready whether and how I could be able to access the data in this image. The Harddisk consists of several partitions (ntfs, ext3, swap) and I was also able to get the informations about their positions via fdisk -ul. I'd just like to know, how I can access the several partitions in the image (presuming I should continue the rescue process for I guess a week oh so) and rescue my data from it....

Big Thx in advance for any help!!!!

    Jens.
